I first received an e-mail from Dr Tom Balchin back in May 2007, it was about training stoke victims. Immediately i was interested, as someone close to me had suffered a stroke.
After having a friendly chat with Tom, i was invited to the Arni seminar in London June 24th 2007. I was unsure about what i was going to expect, but took up the kind invite.
On the day of the seminar I was kindly greeted by Tom, as was everybody. Tom first described his own stroke experience and then what the Arni trust was all about and wanted to achieve. Everyone was so friendly and kind, I also met some of the stoke victim’s along with the other instructors. Tom showed us training technique’s that were incorporated into the Arni program and how it has helped improve the stoke victims everyday lives. We were also shown some energy and balance techniques from Master Lee, which i thought were great and i can now understand the importance of releasing energy and the warming up of cold limbs.
I found the whole experience inspirational! I like to thank Dr Tom Balchin and the Arni team for a great seminar.
Look forward to working with you.
